These are the little souls who have no where else to go ...
These are our Sanctuary Cats, the ones the Vets deemed unadoptable due to exposure of FIP. We promised these cats a Sanctuary where they can live out their lives without worring where or how their next meal will come, have a place to sleep and stay out of the weather. Have human compansionship and love. Receive medical treatment when necessary. We realize that not everyone is in a position to adopt a cat so we are offering a sponsorship program where you can sponsor the cat of your choice. You will receive pictures of your cat, be update on how they are doing and can even receive video tapes of a typical day in your cats life. The cost of sponsoring a cat is $10 per month and will help cover the costs of feeding them and their medical care. They will be Purrectly happy to hear that they have been choosen to be a special cat to a special person! Just pick out which cat that you would like to sponsor and email me. ladybugskittyrescue@hotmail.com

This is TC (Stands for Temporary Cat, Too Cute and Too Cool). TC is 3 a year old, neutered male, looks to be part Maine Coon and has a chronic heart condition that is currently being managed by cardiac drug therapy. We would all appreciate your prayers for his continued recovery. He believes that his tail is his best attribute.

This is Taylor. He doesn't care to be bothered. Unless of course it's his idea. Taylor is a 7 year old, neutered male who had an inappropriate toilet attitude.

This is Curly. He has a curly, monkey tail. He is a 2 year old, neutered male and has a non-responsive URI that he likes to spread around. He enjoys laying in the sun.

This is Mouse. He thinks he is a dog. He squeaks like a mouse. He rules the roost and he too has toilet issues. His favorite pass-time is playing ball, he fetches and returns it. He also likes to 'love bite', hard.

This is Sammy, Mouse's brother. Sammy lost an eye due to severe infection as a kitten. He also has a mouth condition like Baby's (read below). He too has a strong personality and loves to rule surpreme. The two don't get along well and must be seperated.

Meet Tapanga. He is 8 years old. He was found in a dumpster at 2 days old and bottle fed. He had a failure to thrive problem during his first years with recurrrent diarrhea, we have both hung in there and he is still around today. He is a real sweetheart.

This is Sadie. She a little nut case, playful and frisky. She is 1 year old, spayed and a pretty happy camper.

Meet Emily. She is actually a calico tabby, spayed, 2 years old and fine company.

Say hello to our oldest, Pepe la pue. Pepe is 12 years old, came to us when she was 6. She was a mean battleaxe back then but has mellowed with age. She loves attention but watch out because she decides without notice when the attention is to end! Fortunately for her we love fiesty cats.

Meet Super Mama, aka Katlin. She is a 5 year old kitty that lost her eye when she was a baby. She is a very skittish cat. She is also the mama of Thomas #2, Quick and Toby. She is a sweet cat and good mother. She actually ended up raising 2 other litters with hers. She is one special lady. She is now spayed.

This is Thomas #2. He is a sweet, talkitive kitty, likes to climb and play. He is a longhair grey and white tabby, 1 year old and neutered.

Meet Quick. He is a very sweet and lovable babe of a cat! He is a longhaired, black and white, neutered male.

This is Toby. The last of Katlin's babies. He is annoyed with me for waking him up from his nap. He is one of the best cuddle, snuggle bugs you could ever ask for.

Meet Rebecka. She was tossed into a dumpester along with her brother as small kittens. Her brother's name was David. David didn't make it. He died of Distemper. They were sick when they were sent to me. Both kittens had deformed eye lids and David had deformed eye balls. Rebecka has had 2 surgeries to make upper eye lids for her. But her eyes have still become damaged. She needs further evaluation to see what eye sight can be saved. She is a sweet and sometimes mischievous little girl. She is a calico tabby with short hair and a short fat little body.

Check out Callie and Racheal playing. Racheal didn't realize that Callie was feeling frisky when she walked up to her!

Meet Tammy Joe. She is a little tiny thing, 2 years old, has birth defects in her rear legs. She can walk and run, doesn't climb much and pretty much just takes it easy.

Newest additions, this is Rachel and FeeBee. Rachel has the white mouth. They are approxiamtely 4 months old.

This Sophie, Sadie's sister. She is very skittish and shy.

Our one true feral kitty. This is KiKi. She is now spayed. Still untouchable. She has beautiful colors and swirls. She is the mother of Nuisance, Rachel, Paws, and Jake.

Meet the Wildest Little Lady of the South! This is Tigger and she is non-stop movement! From playing with dogs, climbing everything, swinging from curtain rods, she is a blur. She is 10 months old and spayed.

This here is Squirt. He is a 3 year old Manx, orange and white. He has urinary problems, mega colon and refuses to eat his proper food. He is sweet and lovable. A little neurotic and has been over grooming himself pert near bald.

Meet one of the FIP babies we saved (so far). This is Knothead. Knot head's mommy died from FIP along with 2 of her brothers. She had a rough start. She was bottle feed because she was so tiny when born. Mom died and so Katlin nursed her litter. Knothead developed an eye infection at 2 days old. We fixed that. Then at 6 days old she developed a knot on her head, thus, one of the docs dubbed her 'Knothead'. She seems to like the name just fine. When she was 3 months old she started with the classic non-stop diarrhea. I got it under control within 5 days and she has been fine since. She is 1 year old and spayed. She is a Sara wannabe.

This is Baby. Baby is being sponsored by Sara Helterman. He is a 7 year old, neutered, grey and white, long haired. He is a sweetie too. He had a virus which caused him to become 'allergic like' to his own teeth. His mouth and gums would become so inflamed that he couldn't eat. We cleaned his teeth often and gave him injections for the imflamation. It got to the point where nothing seemed to help and he was fighting with his food and wouldn't eat. We went ahead and pulled all his teeth. He still has the imflamation and needs canned food and medications regularly. He is one of four kitties we have with this problem.

One evening we watched as a mother cat brought up her two kittens where we fed a couple of front yard kitties and left them there. Guess she decided that we would care for them, which we did. A week later I caught her and now she is spayed. This was Ebby one of her babies. He died on 9-8-03 of FIP. He as a sweet boy and fought hard to live. Her other child is Silk.

This is Luna. She's a first class nut case. Was dropped off in our front yard by their mother. She loves affection and rough play, but is still scared of her own shadow!

This is Sammy #2 on your left. He is a skittish kitty. Very beautiful with spots like a wild cat. He is 11 months old. He does not get along with others, this is a true kodiac moment! The orange kitty is Garfield. He is a super sweet boy. Loves kissing and nursing on people, cats, dogs, whoever will let him! The kitty on your right is Thomas #2.

Meet Sammy #3. Sammy was going to be put down for inappropriate toilet habits. His original owner had died and the new owners couldn't tolerate his behavior. So in he moved here. He doesn't like other cats and that was his biggest problem. The new owner's decided to get him company after they got him. He was showing his disapproval. He has been adjusting to life here. Even likes one or two of the other cats. He is really a sweet guy and nice lap cat.

This is Jake and the Fat Man. LOL it's really Jake and his human Daddy. Jake is helping wash dishes! He is such a talented little guy. He is part of our feral cats final litter. Nothing feral about him though!

This is Paws, he is Jake's brother. Paws loves me but he loves his puppy, Stubby much better! They frolick all the time. Now is nap time and a pile of laundry is just the best bed!

Finally Sara gets out of the dark bedroom! She is the feline Huntress devine. An attention hound and all round great CAT!
